My role & responsibilities (Job description) briefly:
Looking after SAARC Market from TAIWAN for Taidoc Technology Corp and main work is develop sales for my company as we are into OEM/ODM manufacturer for Blood Glucose Monitoring System and product related to health diagnostic like blood pressure monitor,Nebulizer,Vital sign Monitor etc from last 5 year .
Previous 5 year was in to Information Technology Ads Agency Media house called Image Media Service company professionally deal in bridging Taiwanese Vendor into India for distribution and tie up through PR activities, Marketing and Events with Distributors.
My advice to someone interested in this field:
My Advice to Young Tibetan is as in recent time I have seen many Indian students are learning mandarin and taking degree courses here in Taiwan and getting employed in Taiwanese Company. As Taiwan is hub for manufacturing IT ,Biotech Related products and these company always look for candidate who can speak English, Hindi and Mandarin to develop their business from India Market and when they come across Tibetan candidate there is always a soft corner and trust.
And most important is if you want to go into Sales you need to know how distribution network of products works in INDIA, like if I say you need to understand if you are selling Memory products you need to understand how many players are there in market say e.g. Kingston,Transcend,Sandisk,HP etc. are brand and Vendor and their product are distributed by distributor in INDIA like Neoteric,Rashi Peripheral,Redington,fortune etc. These information you can gather through online website like channeltimes,cybermedia,digit online and need to check IT Magazine like Digit, Computer Active and Computer Reseller News. Same goes for Biotech Products and it is same for almost all product in the market and To get a bigger picture and role in company first you need to start from whatever post you get in these distribution company or any company and once you start understanding the network of distribution channel from there it is easy for you to jump and getting employed in company from Taiwan as Representative In India for Taiwan company or any better prospect in general I am talking about. All job start with low salary because of not having a knowledge of Industry, channel and your weak network but once you start getting experience of who is who in industry and you start building your network in market, your value increase and you can demand for raise of salary from your present company or you will be offer by other as well if you become known face in market and what I have notice many Tibetan youngster when they start job they think salary given to them at initial stage is not enough to survive in metropolitan city like Delhi, Mumbai etc and they quit after few month instead of taking in positive side of getting break in any of a company as a learner and looking into future prospect not in the company where he is working but making that as a base camp for his or her future career.
