The Department of Education wishes good luck to all class XII students appearing in the Board Examination - 2017

Dear Students,

This is to inform all students that Council of Architecture has decided to hold National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) once in a year on a single day unlike the previous years. Read the Chairman's message

NATA will be held once in a year and this year it will be conducted offline on April 16, 2017

All the interested PCM students who aspires to be an architecture must sit for this examination. Admission to first year Bachelor of Architecture will be done through central counseling based on the NATA score and no other entrance test is accepted.

The Department of Education CTA is happy to announce the 2nd Tibetan Youth Leadership Workshop for College students. It will be held in two batches of 100 students (50 boys & 50 girls) in two phases at Pune & Dharamsala. The student associations must submit the names of the participants before April 5, 2017 to the Guidance & Counseling section, Department of Education. 

First Batch:

  • Report Pune on May 28, 2017
  • Workshop from May 29 - June 3, 2017 at Pune
  • Depart Pune on June 4, 2017
  • Report June 07, 2017 at Dharamsala
  • Workshop from June 08 - 10, 2017 at Dharamsala

2nd Batch:

  • Report Pune on June 04, 2017 
  • Workshop from June 05 - 10, 2017
  • Depart Pune on June 10, 2017
  • Report June 14, 2017 at Dharamsala
  • Workshop from June 15 - 17, 2017 at Dharamsala

Who Can Apply?
• She or he who has never attended leadership workshop from any Organizations (Public/Private/NGO)
• She or he must be either studying in Undergraduate 2nd year or above
• She or he must be nominated by the Executive member of Regional Student Association or RTYC
• She or he can self-nominate if there is no regional student association or RTYC

Mode of Selection:
• The Local student association will select the participants based on above criteria
• The list of the participants not submitted from any Association or RTYC to the Department of Education before the deadline, the seat offer will be given to college having larger student population.
Post Graduates students will register directly (first come first basis) at the undermentioned contact address.

Travel Allowance: The Department of Education will bear the Travel Allowance (Non Rajdhani AC-III)/Non AC Bus, DA of Rs.300/- & a room rent of Rs.500/- if you had to hold for a night to catch the next transportation.

Dress Code for the Workshop:
Boys: Traditional Tibetan Shirt with formal pants or jeans (no Hip - hops)
Girls: Chupa or Traditional Tibetan Shirt with formal pants or jeans (ankle length)

• Rules for Reimbursement: To claim for reimbursement, you must produce original tickets. If failed to do so no reimbursement will be done even if the case is genuine. The Department will not be responsible.

Registration Deadline for 2nd Tibetan Youth Leadership Workshop extended

The Department of Education, CTA has extended the registration deadline for the 2nd Tibetan Youth Leadership workshop scheduled to be held at Pune & Dharamsala to April 15, 2017. Registration will be done on First Come, First Serve basis so hurry up and apply. We have some slots in the first batch starting from May 29 - June 3, 2017 and second batch commencing from June 5 - 10, 2017!

This is to inform all participants of the 2nd Tibetan Youth Leadership Workshop that the final list of first batch & second batch is uploaded on the website. Kindly book your tickets to Pune and return to Delhi to attend the 2nd part of the workshop at Dharamsala.

Your travel allowance will be reimbursed to you on producing the original tickets, so keep the tickets safely and for local conveyances such as auto rickshaw, write the vehicle number and the cost on a piece of paper and get it signed from the driver. If you are in a group please try to share the vehicle.

Read the Tibetan & English announcement carefully and follow the rules of the reimbursement and dress code during the workshop. 

We will soon make a whatsup group for the two different batches. Therefore those who do not have whatsup id please make one. This will be most convenient and fastest way to get the information to all of you.
